About Robin Noelle

I've always been a writer. Since I was a child, I have been writing fiction and short stories, even winning the Young Writer's Award for one of my pieces.

You can't be a good writer without being a voracious reader. You can check out my page on GoodReads.com to see what I'm reading.

My degree is in Journalism with an option in Public Relations from California, State University at Chico. My minor is in English and Art Studio. During that time I was published in an anthology, was an account manager for the award-winning Tehama Group and joined the Public Relations Society of America.

I started my career in public relations fresh out of college in the beautiful city of Boston, Massachusetts. I spent many years in high-tech public relations, working for some of the biggest and smallest names in the industry. From start-ups to behemoth Microsoft, I've experienced every facet of public relations from bylined articles, white papers, press kits, press releases and nationwide press tours.

After the tech crash, I worked in other industries including Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) where I did consulting for Subway sandwiches. I have a strong background in the health and beauty fields having apprenticed as a make-up artist for years in college and leading a district of more than 400 sales representatives as a District Sales Manager for Avon in Oregon.

In 2007 I left the glitz and glamour of corporate life behind and struck out for the dusty, foreign and decidedly unglamorous life of being a full-time resident of Mexico. I live and work in a small town outside of Puerto Vallarta with my two world-traveling dogs and a few cats.

I'm an active scuba diver, having earned PADI's Rescue Diver certification. I'm passionate about the environment, animal rights and education. I enjoy volunteering for a number of different organizations and I strongly believe in community service and giving back.

I've written a book called So You Want to Move to Mexico: The Ultimate Relocation Guide for Slackers, Spendthrifts and Ne'er-Do-Wells. It's currently being considered by several publishers.
